Often when worldbuilding I've gone into "deep dives" on specific topics when worldbuilding and story-building for a novel to flesh out various elements and make them more authentic.

Some months ago I did a night's worth of research into wine for some worldbuilding on Fox One.

A while ago when building a story beat for SGBR, another LN I'm working on, I did a deep dive into 3D printed guns.

Lately I've been doing research about biker clubs and biker gangs to flesh out another worldbuilding element of Fox One.

What sorts of research deep dives have you done?

The antibiotic resistance crisis is something I want to touch on in future chapters, so I've been doing some research on what specific illnesses would become a problem in a world where antibiotics no longer have any use on people.
